Zac Monro Architects

ZMA is a small architecture practice based in Brixton, founded by Zac Monro. In early 2024 Zac commissioned me to rebrand the practice and create a new website.

Zac is a big fan of mid-century design, and in particular G Plan furniture. This reference inspired me to explore a robust, condensed typeface – Manuka by Klim – which communicates the strong, serious yet playful attitude of the practice.

The colour palette was kept to just 2 colours, a vibrant sunshine yellow and a deep muted green. A quirky sans-serif, Bagoss by Displaay, brings plenty of character and compliments the bold ZMA wordmark.

The website delivers clarity, calmness and space, allowing the images to sit front and centre, accented with bold yet restrained type.
