When the BBC sold Television Centre in 2012, it ushered in a huge change for the iconic mid-century masterpiece in White City. The complex has been masterfully redeveloped by Stanhope and AHMM, and now includes homes, offices, restaurants and a hotel, whilst retaining the iconic TV studios.
At DNCO, having worked closely with Stanhope since 2015 on the marketing for the Television Centre project as a whole, in 2019 I designed this 240-page coffee table book to celebrate the building’s former life and look to its future, told through stunning before-and-after photographs by Lee Mawdsley.
The book is now available to buy from Artifice.
