The Japan Book

This is a deeply personal project, a book that chronicles, in full, the trip that I made to Japan in 2019 with my wife Natalie.

A contemporary take on the traditional holiday album, I spent the lockdown of 2020 compiling all the photographs that we took together and laid them out to tell the story of the trip chronologically. The back section of the book is a detailed catalogue of all the objects, tickets and ephemera that we collected.

The finished thing weighs in at 300 pages. It is designed to match the same narrow page size as my Japan Nights book so that the two can form a pair. A limited number were produced for friends & family.
