The Furthest Point Was Home

The Furthest Point Was Home (Il Punto Più Lontano Era Casa) is an ongoing photographic project by Danilo Murru. In early 2025 he asked me to design a book to accompany an exhibition of the project in Cagliari.

Although originally from Sardinia, Danilo has lived in London for the last 25 years. This project is his way of rediscovering a place he once called home; a meditation on somewhere left in a hurry.

The 56-page softback book acts as a simple catalogue for the show. There are three introductory essays, followed by 52 images. The typography is set in Yport by Luzi Type.
