Published by Lost In Cult, Citizen Sleeper: Design Works is a richly illustrated 248-page art book, written by Ewan Wilson. It reveals the making of the 2022 role-playing game, which was created by Gareth Damian Martin with illustrations by Guillaume Singelin.
There are futuristic ‘UI’ design elements throughout, and vibrant colours such as rich magenta and poppy yellow tie everything together. The cover illustration is treated with a spot UV varnish.
I was brought onto the project with a design concept and typographic style already in place; my task was to develop and refine the book, applying rigour and logic to build some robust templates for each of the 4 chapters. I then laid out the full 248 pages of content and submitted artwork-ready files to press.
