This was my entry into the 2024 edition of Secret 7″. The design is for ‘Skipping like a Stone’ by The Chemical Brothers featuring Beck, and it was exhibited at NOW Gallery, North Greenwich, in March 2024
I was inspired by the patterns made by skipping stones across water, and also the electronic nature of the music. Overlapping orange circles are laid out on a musical stave, creating a graphic that suggests both ripples and electronic beats.
The sleeve, along with the other 699 entries into the exhibition, was sold at a blind auction helping to raise over £200,000 for War Child.
