Nepstadion

Nepstadion was my final major project at university, a joint piece of work with Benjamin Hayward. The photographs were taken in Budapest, 2009, when Ben and I discovered the ‘People’s Stadium’ – a Soviet concrete behemoth built in 1948. By the time of our visit it was still operational but in a state of disrepair. We photographed the structure and on our return home produced an oversized photo book, printed in black and white, French-folded, with screen printed typography over the images. See the project here.
